Insurance & Premium Handling Procedure

1. Application & Underwriting: Clients submit a proposal form indicating their coverage needs. The underwriting team evaluates the risk, confirms eligibility, and prepares a personalized quotation.

2. Premium Quotation & Agreement: Clients receive a transparent, Sharia-compliant premium quotation detailing coverage limits, terms, and exclusions. Upon review and agreement, the policy contract is signed.

3. Premium Payment Options: We offer flexible and secure payment methods:

  • Lump-sum or installment payments
  • Bank transfer or mobile money
  • Direct payment at Sahan Insurance offices

An official policy certificate and receipt are issued immediately upon payment.

4. Policy Activation:  Once payment is received, the policy becomes active, and the insured gains access to all listed benefits and coverage terms.
5. Claims Handling Process: In case of a claim:

  • The policyholder submits a claim form with necessary documentation (e.g., medical report, police abstract, invoices).
  • Our claims team verifies and assesses the claim.
  • Upon approval, compensation is processed promptly within the agreed period.

6. Renewal & Customer Support: Sahan Insurance notifies clients before their policy expires. Our customer service team assists with renewals, updates, and ongoing support to ensure uninterrupted coverage.
